A new appointment has been made to expand the large family department at Wace Morgan Solicitors even further.
Leanne Bellwood joins the Shrewsbury-based firm as a solicitor and mediator.
Having completed a law degree at Leeds Metropolitan University, Leanne worked as a conveyancing paralegal at a Telford company while studying for her legal practice course at the College of Law in Birmingham, being awarded a training contract and qualifying as a solicitor in 2009.
“I started specialising in family law during the last year of my training contract and have been building up my experience in this sector since then,” Leanne commented.
“I deal with a wide range of family issues, such as private cases, public law, divorce, finances and matters relating to children involving local authorities.”
Leanne has undertaken a foundation course in mediation and is currently completing the final stages of her training as a mediator.
“Wace Morgan has one of the largest and most skilled teams of family lawyers in the region and I am really pleased to have been given the opportunity of progressing my career further as a solicitor and mediator here as they are a very well respected firm in Shropshire and beyond,” she added.
