A second vintage and classical tractors, vehicles and implements sale is to be held by Halls Auctioneers next month, following the success of the inaugural auction in March.

Open to vintage and classical tractors, vehicles and implements, the auction is being organised at Shrewsbury Auction Centre on Saturday, November 21.

Tractors with small cabs will be sold first in the show ring, followed by the implements outside on the overflow car park. Entries for inclusion in the sale catalogue close on Friday, October 30.

“We have attracted a lot of interest already with several vintage and classical tractors entered in good time,” said auctioneer Henry Hyde, who organises the sale. “We are keen to build on the success of the inaugural sale which was well supported by farmers.

“I am keen to hear from anyone who has vintage tractors or implements that they would like to sell. Our March auction proved that there are buyers out there looking for these vintage items.”

Prices peaked at £14,400 for a beautifully restored 1976 Massey Ferguson 168 Multi Power at the March auction. It was included in a collection of 10 tractors sold by D. & S. B. Farquharson, described by Mr Hyde as “the showstoppers”.
