Trouser Fitting
Monday October 1st 10.30am-4.30pm
Trousers today come in all shapes and styles with many intricate design details, however the fit leaves a lot to be desired. This course will lead you through the process of measuring, cutting fitting and adjusting in the correct areas for the perfect fit. If you have never sewn trousers before, or if you are unhappy with the results, this course will teach you the fitting and alteration techniques you need to know. £70
Roman Blinds
Tuesday October 2nd 10.30am-4.30pm
No more tangled cords and broken springs. Roman blinds are sleek, modern and easy to make when you know the mechanics. Make a sample blind. Learn all the elements to create successful blinds in the future. £70 + £5 Materials
Basic Sewing Machine Skills
Saturday 20th October 10am -1pm
Come along and make friends with your sewing machine. Learn the basic things that you need to know to get you sewing with confidence. Take home samples to remind you of what your machine can do. £30
Ready, Steady, Sew!
Saturday 20th October 2-5pm
This Course is designed to progress your sewing skills to the next level. Learn how to work with a commercial pattern, reading the pattern markings, and how to transfer them to your fabric. We will show you how to sew neat seams and darts to give your garments that professional look. £35
Don't Throw it Away!
Saturday 27th October 10am.-1pm
Explore clever and creative ways to upcycle your unwanted textiles. Revamp, refashion or totally restyle abandoned clothes or household textiles in this session. Choose from one of these projects:
1) Bring an old pair of jeans and transform them into a skirt or a shoulder bag.
2) Bring along a tablecloth, sarong, or large rectangle of fabric and transform into a large sling bag. £30
