A Shrewsbury oriental restaurant is giving local businesses the chance to tickle the taste buds of their hungry staff with the launch of a dedicated lunchtime delivery service.
Soy Oriental, a Chinese takeaway restaurant offering up a range of fast, simple, oriental food in a box, has launched its new offer especially for busy businesses based on the town’s numerous enterprise parks. The service will run on weekdays from 12pm to 2pm, and with a standard delivery time of just 45 minutes, the firm is offering ‘wok-to-work’ turnaround that is to the tastes of local workers.
Specialising in lunch boxes with fillings such as crispy coated beef, Thai fish cakes, and Hong Kong Chicken, Soy Oriental is also serving up a wide range of dishes for lunchtime delivery, from traditional Chinese soups to hot wraps, while to tie in with the new delivery offer the restaurant has also cooked up a special Lunchtime Snack Box where workers can choose from a range of bases and sauces for just £1.95.
Kelly Swancott, Manager of Soy Oriental, said: “We know how busy businesses all across Shrewsbury are, while we also know that many workers can end up skipping lunch because they’re completing important tasks – an all too familiar scenario that’s not good for them or their productivity later in the day.
“Our new delivery service is a great way to ensure all staff remember to have their lunch even at the busiest of times, and because we deliver straight to the door, workers don’t even have to leave the office. With a special flat-rate delivery fee of £1 for all orders over £10, or £2 for orders totalling less than £10, it’s a cost-effective and simple solution for bosses to ensure their team are refuelled and raring to go for the afternoon.”
The Shrewsbury restaurant is driving forward with its new service, delivering lunchtime orders in its own branded speedy Soy Car.
