Rewarding success at Heritage Glass …

Shropshire glazing specialists Heritage Glass Group has announced promotions for key members of staff following a record sales quarter and planned future company expansion.

From its Monkmoor-based showroom, Heritage Glass supplies and fits a range of energy efficient products including traditional French, sliding, roller and patio doors, together with new bespoke windows.

Having recently completed major local contracts at the Nuffield Hospital and Cedars housing complex in Shrewsbury, the firm is looking ahead and has appointed Oswestry man Colin Young as group company surveyor.

Long serving staff members Alan Twyford and Gary Plimmer, who have completed 10 years and over 15 years service respectively, have both been promoted to senior technician.

Director, Anthony Randall, said: “As the company approaches its 17th year in business and having very healthy order books, we wished to reward key staff members and provide them with the benefits that they have truly earned.

“Colin was a former installer and has proved his worth over the past four years, so a new position has been created for him as the company evolves, whereas Alan and Gary have both shown totally loyalty to us with their length of service and their dedication to the continued success of Heritage Glass Group.”

Heritage Glass lists the Ministry of Defence, Shropshire Council, several public and private schools and Link 51 in Telford amongst its customers, and can be contacted on 01743 249243.
