Morris Property has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) for its work on Unit 48 at Centurion Park on Kendall Road in Shrewsbury, achieving one of the highest marks possible under the national scheme.

The project secured an impressive score of 97% during its first CCS assessment visit, exceeding the 95% threshold required to achieve the Scheme’s highest performance band, ‘Outstanding’.

The independent CCS Monitor assessed the site against the three pillars of the Code of Considerate Practice: Respect the Community, Care for the Environment and Value the Workforce. Recognition was given to the measures taken to minimise disruption and protect neighbouring homes and businesses during construction.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a national initiative designed to raise standards across the construction industry. Registered sites are independently assessed against a range of criteria covering community engagement, environmental performance and workforce wellbeing. Scores between 95% and 100% are classified as ‘Outstanding’, the highest of the Scheme’s five performance levels.

Unit 48 forms part of the ongoing regeneration of Centurion Park, where Morris Property has invested more than £3.5 million since 2019 to enhance and expand the established business destination.

Conor Roberts, Site Manager at Morris Property, said:

“We are extremely proud to have achieved an ‘Outstanding’ score at Unit 48,” said Conor Roberts, Site Manager. “It’s a team effort. Everyone on site, from our contractors to our suppliers, has taken pride in keeping the site tidy, safe and respectful of our neighbours.”

Mark Bennett, Contracts Manager at Morris Property, added: “Scoring at this level shows what can be achieved when considerate practice is built into the way we plan and run every project, not treated as an add-on. Credit goes to Conor and the whole site team, and to Trish and Claire for their continued support and work behind the scenes.”

As a family-owned business with more than a century of property expertise, Morris Property continues to place responsible construction, environmental stewardship and community consideration at the heart of its developments.
