Leading housebuilder Persimmon Homes says demand for its homes remains high in the region with forward sales for 2017 already running four per cent higher than at the same point last year.
John Cosgrave, managing director of Persimmon Homes West Midlands, welcomed a 19% increase in private sales compared with the same period last year, with visitor numbers to its sites across the region remaining well ahead too.
He said: “We are currently working on various developments including new homes in Lawley, Telford, Newport, Ellesmere and Shrewsbury, and we will launch a new site in Hartshill, Stoke on Trent, in the New Year.
“Later in 2017, we look forward to new developments in Lichfield and Shrewsbury as well as new phases of Lyne Hill Meadow, in Penkridge, Ettingshall Place, Bilston and Lawley, Telford. To avoid disappointment, I would encourage people to register for new developments as soon as possible either online or via our marketing suites. The popular Government-funded Help to Buy Equity Loan is available until 2021, so you can find your new home with just a five per cent deposit.
“As well as delivering much-needed new homes into communities, every new development contributes to the local community as part of the planning agreement. This year, the business has helped to provide a new school in Lawley as well as a play area in Newport.”
The company’s hugely successful Community Champions programme continues to go from strength to strength with over 1,000 charities now supported nationally and nearly £1 million donated. Small groups and charities in the West Midlands can apply for a donation by visiting www.persimmonhomes.com/charity.
Persimmon is recruiting across every region to support its build programme. A full list of current job vacancies at Persimmon Homes West Midlands can be found by visiting www.persimmonjobs.com.
