Coracle World Championship Fundraiser
Severn Partnership will be taking part in this years Coracle World Championships on Friday 15th September, at Pengwern Boat House, Shrewsbury in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
On Friday 1st September, Darren Read and Michael Beevers will swim 10km at Bannatynes Gym, Shrewsbury. This fundraiser will help to raise money for the Coracle event, where our Severn Partnership team will paddle across the width of the River Severn in Coracle boats in the attempt to become World Champions.
To date, the Coracle event has raised £200,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. This year the organisers hope to have the best year ever.
