Contenders are you ready? With the tug of war challenge being postponed until September 27th competitors have been given a few extra weeks to prepare.
This September sees the return of the iconic clash of the titans’ battle and this year we want to invite you and your team to take part.
Each summer here at the Centre we play host to a number of teams who compete in a classic tug of war, but this is no ordinary game.
The battle continues until all but two have been illuminated and then things really heat up!
The centre section of the rope is set alight while the two champion teams compete until one is crowned the victor.
The day is a great event bringing together local businesses, teams, organisations, their families and supporters, best of all its completely free!
We also have an official adjudicator, international ropes and of course the winner’s trophy.
Along with the winning team we also invite all guests to join us for free beer and a barbeque to celebrate.
