Celebration of the third age

On Wednesday 2nd June there will be a u3a celebration in Shrewsbury Square. u3a is the international organisation which provides lifelong learning and activity opportunities for those who are no longer in full time work. The name u3a is the new identity for University of the Third Age and its mission for members is to "Learn, Laugh, Live". An annual joining fee of just £15 entitles members to join as many groups as they wish – and groups include topics as diverse as art, poetry, walking, astronomy, jazz, philosophy, languages and many more. There is a group to suit everyone and new topic suggestions are welcomed. Shrewsbury u3a is run by members for members and is a registered charity.

Pop along to the Square from 10am on Wednesday 2nd June to find out more or contact membership@shrewsburyu3a.org.uk
