This promises to be one of our most successful Open Weekends yet with something to catch the attention of all the family and all interests. Many will be able to enjoy our newly opened Visitor Centre and join one of our highly acclaimed guided tours of the world’s first iron framed building, including a climb to the top of the Jubilee Tower.
A highlight will be a fabulous art exhibition curated by Participate Contemporary Artspace, and all are welcome to a PV for the art show on the 9th of September from 5 to 7pm.
There will also be activities for children, magic shows with Rob Chapman , exhibitions and demonstrations and live music. A barbeque and refreshments will be available. Andy McKeown will be taking over the ground floor of the Cross Mill with a new immersive light show.
We are delighted to say that entry is Free, thanks to the wonderful efforts of our team of volunteers.
