A Shropshire company which provides vocational training across a range of sectors and supports young learners is to move into a new suite at Shrewsbury Business Park as the next stage of its expansion.
RENU Training CIC has completed the letting of a modern first floor office suite at Sycamore House’s West Wing, marketed by Towler Shaw Roberts, with the property to accommodate the company’s alternative provision programme for pre-16 learners from this September.
It follows the recent relocation of RENU Training Academy, another arm of the company, from Dorrington to the East Wing at Sycamore House, with the two-storey property at Sitka Drive its new headquarters.
The self-contained West Wing suite, which extends in total to 1,325 sq ft, also benefits from eight car parking spaces.
Gail Smallman, co-director alongside Charlotte Walder of RENU Training CIC, said: “It allows us to work with a new sector of pre-16 learners from September onwards.
“What we have currently is very much focused on our post-16 learners, and the new building will be used to support pre-16 learners for whom school isn’t the right environment for them.
“It’s the next natural step to move into pre-16, so we can support young people from a younger age for a longer period of time. We can support them from potentially 14 up to 18 or 19 years of age.”
The company is pleased to have made the move to Shrewsbury Business Park, having quickly settled into its new surroundings: “It’s really good,” added Gail. “It’s a great community around us and very supportive.”

Launched in 2016, RENU Training Academy initially provided accessible vocational education in hair and beauty for young people and adults.
It has now expanded into health, social and childcare, as well as hospitality and catering, and animal care.
The company also supports both pre-16 and post-16 learners through alternative provision programmes delivered within secondary schools across Shropshire and Telford, with the move to Sycamore House allowing the company to support more pre-16 learners, as well as continuing its successful post-16 programmes.
