Shropshire Chamber of Commerce is marking the start of another positive Patronage year with a number of successes aimed at strengthening the services its Members and Patrons receive over the course of the next 12 months.
The new Patronage year, which runs from April to March, kicks-off with the recent appointments of highly-experienced and well-connected individuals, Mandy Thorn MBE of Marches Care Ltd and Christopher Greenough of Salop Design & Engineering to its Board of Directors, who will add to the current Board of Directors’ areas of expertise.
The Chamber has also welcomed Chris Pallett of Bespoke Computing as its latest Patron Member, bringing expertise in Information Technology to the group.
“We’re very much looking forward to seeing what the next 12 months have in store,” explained Richard Sheehan, Chief Executive of the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce. “Not only are we entering a brand new Patronage year, which brings about its own excitement and opportunities for further supporting and developing the many and varied businesses we represent, but we are starting the year on such a strong footing with the calibre of all of our Board of Directors.
“As a result of our ongoing successes, we are continuing to further enhance the many services we currently provide to Patrons and Members, including exclusive networking events and exhibitions, International Trade services, and partnerships with organisations to help us support even more businesses compete on a national, international and global stage, including with e-Careers to offer a full suite of online training courses, as well as Global Membership and Worldpay.”
