Walking for Health, for all!

Now that spring has nearly sprung (!) how about getting outside and going for a walk? Blow those wintry cobwebs away and get that heart rate going! Being based in Church Stretton, we have a wealth of wonderful walks and we run a programme called ‘Walking for Health’.

The walks, of different ability, are led by trained walk leaders and leave from Mayfair every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

These walks are not only a great way to meet new people but you may also see local places that you might not know about, and get out and about in the fresh spring air. It is also free to join in with any of the walks!

Level 1: Gentle pace, easy surface, few or no gradients, 15 to 45 minutes. 11am every Wednesday.

Level 2: Paved or good paths, some gentle gradients, generally no stiles, 45 to 90 minutes. 10.30am, every Wednesday.

Level 3: Off road, occasional steep gradients and stiles, up to 2 hours. 10.30am, every Friday.

Level 4: Off road, hills, steeper gradients and stiles, 2+ hours. 10.30am every Tuesday.

Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes before the start time, we aim to leave promptly.
