Spring has Sprung!

We've been so busy here at Mayfair Community Centre. Lots of things for the coming year to plot and plan, including a wonderful selection of interesting talks, a piano accordion course and a lampshade making course to name but a few! We've already started planning our May Fayre - which is a wonderful event and so well supported by the community. It is on Saturday 2nd May from 11am to 2.30pm. There will be a variety of stalls including books, bric-a-brac, cakes, plants and preserves plus the Mayfair shop will be well stocked with beautiful handmade items. Donations for these stalls would be much appreciated.  The café will be offering a special May Fayre menu. Among the other attractions will be Maypole dancing by the children from St Lawrence Primary School, Craft Demonstrations, The Strummers, Accordion Players led by Ed Moseley as well as The May Fayre Draw with a first prize of £100. Entrance 50p, children enter free.

We are also in the process of planning events for the year, as well as new activities - these will be announced when they've been confirmed!

Church Stretton is looking lovely in the sunshine today. Why don't you come down and enjoy a home cooked meal in our cafe?
