A Shrewsbury-based same day courier company has had the latest real-time tracking and alert systems fitted in its fleet of delivery vans.
Dex’s Midnight Runners (DMR) has joined forces with fellow Shrewsbury-based firm Don’t Dream It Drive It to install the bespoke monitoring software in its fleet of refrigerated vans. The system provides a tracking and monitoring system that goes the extra mile, ensuring a reliable and efficient service to DMR’s wide range of clients, including chilled food suppliers, utility firms and environmental sampling companies.
The Don’t Dream It Drive It customised courier software tracks key details such as vehicle location and performance, and vehicle temperature in real-time, automatically relaying temperature checks to DMR headquarters every 15 minutes. It allows each job to be evaluated instantly against key parameters, and also enables DMR to keep customers completely informed with their delivery’s progress.
