A Shropshire wedding taster - before the big day!

Engaged couples looking for their perfect wedding venue will be able to visualise their big day as they walk around a Shropshire hotel.

The Wroxeter Hotel will have all its function rooms open and dressed just as they would be for a wedding during an open evening on November 6, 2014.

And the event will also see the launch of a new package featuring the popular Pom Pom look said to be taking the wedding world by storm this year.

The hotel, set in beautiful countryside in the village of Wroxeter between Shrewsbury and Telford, is a popular wedding venue and owners Hannah and Ed Hall said they understood how important it was for future bride and grooms to see how their chosen venue could look on the day itself.

“Our open evening is very informal and couples are welcome to stop by and have a walk through the hotel and our function rooms at their leisure,” said Mrs Hall.

“We always dress the hotel as we would for a wedding as that really helps people to see how it would look for their own big day, as undressed it can be hard to visualise how it would actually look when decorated.

“We offer several different themes for weddings, including vintage, autumn and our popular winter wonderland.”

November 6 will mark the launch of the new Sensational Spring package featuring decorations from the PomPom Studio and the most up-to-date Pom Pom look.

“We are doing everything we can to keep Shropshire brides right up to date with wedding style and quality suppliers and still keeping them within their budgets,” added Mrs Hall.

“Our new Sensational Spring package also features three hours of professional photography from the award-winning photographer Meg Hawkins.

“We have a dedicated wedding team who will be on hand during the open evening to show couples around and answer any questions they might have.”

The open evening will also feature the range of additional wedding services offered by The Wroxeter Hotel, including casinos.

The event will run from 4pm until 8pm and all are welcome.
