A leading Shropshire communications company has recruited a new business account manager as part of the firm’s on-going expansion.

ASK Mobile Phones of Meole Brace, Shrewsbury, has appointed local man Steve Oliver to concentrate on working with the county’s business community.

Steve is a former chairman of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce’s Shrewsbury Networking Breakfast Club and has been heavily involved in supporting businesses throughout the region for several years.

Company director Adam Smith, in welcoming Steve to the firm, said: “This new position is yet another extension of our services and will complement our business-to-business offer.

“ASK is celebrating 20 successful years in business and we attribute this greatly to the quality of our staff. Most of our team have been with us for many years and we are delighted to welcome Steve aboard and feel that his excellent sales and networking record will help us move the company forward.

“The evolution of the smartphone has enabled us to pass on a host of the many benefits that this new technology brings, to existing and new customers alike and also to create this new staff role.”

Steve added: “These are very exciting times and I am hoping that my vast network of business connections throughout Shropshire will help the company expand its already renowned products and services.”
