Morris Property lets Shrewsbury's Old School House to New Professional Health Care Tenants

Morris Property have welcomed new tenants to the Old School House.  Letting agent Alessio Dyfnallt of Cooper Green Pooks recently secured a new six year lease to Integral Health Shropshire Ltd who provide professional support for natural health care.

The Old School House is situated in the heart of Shrewsbury town centre, just round the corner from the Welsh Bridge and adjacent to Shrewsbury Sixth Form College. The area is known for its well established range of business centres and retail outlets, as well as being next to Quarry Park with its stunning grounds and well equipped fitness and swimming suite.

This historic detached, two storey, self-contained building dates back to 1858. It was formerly known as the Headmasters House of St Chad’s School. Morris Property completely rebuilt the building in 2008 after being relocated from its original position on Barker Street to its new home on St Austin Friars. The Old School House has an internal floor area of 872sq.

Ben Calder of Integral Health said ‘’The move is a brand new venture for us as I was looking to provide a resource in Shrewsbury town centre which went above and beyond the vision for other natural health centres.

‘’I saw The Old School House as offering the right balance between form and function, being both a beautiful space and having the potential to meet what I needed and I was therefore very excited to be able to take it on.’’

The Integral Health Centre aims to provide a professional safe environment in which to find support for health care. They acknowledge the need to combine the most effective elements of both conventional and non-conventional complementary approaches. This is the first centre in Shropshire to offer this service where both approaches are recognised as necessary to overall health and wellness.
