Marie Curie seeks volunteers for Daffodil Appeal

With Marie Curie’s annual Great Daffodil Appeal just four months away, the charity are looking for volunteer collection hosts to co-ordinate some of their street and supermarket collections across Shropshire in March 2015.

Volunteers will be informed of any available collections in the area and will be sent collection cans and other materials for everyone taking part in their collection.

Hosts will meet and greet collectors before their collections begin and take away materials and money to be counted and paid in at the bank. 

Shropshire’s Community Fundraiser Jessica Dutton said,: “We have a number of collection host roles available locally. No experience is necessary, just lots of enthusiasm.”
