It’s a Cracking Banger and that’s Official!

Maynard’s Farm, the multi-award winning artisan curer and producer of specialist pork products has picked up a brand new award at the Great British Food Farm Produce Awards. The latest prize for the ‘Best Traditional Sausage’ category was given to their Cracked Black Pepper Sausages.

Based in Prees Green - Maynard’s Farm owner Rob Cunningham, has been responsible for developing a series of delicious, best-selling sausage recipes since taking over the business in 2001. The newly crowned bangers feature one of Britain’s oldest and best loved spices. The cracked black peppercorns release a fragrant aroma when cooked. These succulent sausages have a gentle warmth that stimulates the appetite and beautifully balances with the pork.

Using only the best quality pork shoulder all Maynard’s Farm sausages contain a minimum of 75% meat. Rob and the team place a strong focus on locally sourced ingredients and producing the best possible sausages. This family business continues to grow and evolve; offering a diverse range of specialist pork products – all made from Farm Assured English pork.

This latest success follows hot on the heels of Rob’s mouthwatering breakfast demonstration at the recent Shrewsbury Food Festival.
