Handy veg sets up home in Morris Property's Centurion Park

Shrewbury’s local vegetable and fruit delivery company, Handy Veg, has set up home in Morris Property’s Centurion Park to continue with its increasingly popular business.

The company provides the highest quality fresh fruit and vegetables each handpicked to ensure only the best produce is included and delivered to your door by its friendly team of drivers.

The company has links with local farmers and the region’s wholesale market so most of the produce is sourced from within Shropshire - often picked just the day before delivery.

The Unit at Centurion Park comprises of approximately 1450 ft² of open plan storage accommodation with a small office and kitchen and was let to Handy Veg by way of a three year lease.

Steve Nutting, owner of Handy Veg, said: “We needed good transport links and a convenient location with parking so customers can visit our premises to collect their orders and pick their own produce. Centurion Business park was ideal for this and with help from Toby Shaw of TSR we were able to agree a suitable deal with Morris Property. Their legal team were helpful and since agreeing the lease the after sales service has been first class. Morris Property is certainly a company, like ourselves, who take pride in giving exceptional customer service.

“My partner Haydn and I set up Handy Veg earlier this year, one of the most important things we considered when setting up the company was location which is why we chose Centurion Park.”

Liz Lowe of Morris Property said: “Shrewsbury Handy Veg is the first operator of its kind on the estate showing the diversity of tenant mix and how the units at Centurion Park provide property solutions to a wide range of local operators.”

Lettings Agent TSR was instrumental in partnering Handy Veg with Morris Property and the Centurion Park Industrial Estate.
