Grade A Success for 7th Consecutive Year

Family run Shropshire water company, Wenlock Spring - based in Wolverton near Church Stretton, has once again been accredited with British Retail Consortium (BRC) Grade A. This is top-grade success for the 7th consecutive year!

The Orme family have been bottling Wenlock Spring at source in Shropshire since 1989 and are this year, celebrating 25 years in business. Bottling premium quality spring water remains the focus of the business.
This is the 7th year Wenlock Spring has achieved the top level in the BRC Global Standards - a leading safety and quality program used by over 20,000 certificated suppliers in 90 countries - with standards issued through a worldwide network of accredited certification bodies.
BRC guarantees the standardisation of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensures that manufactures fulfil their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.

Matthew Orme, Director of Wenlock Spring, commented; “We are delighted to have achieved BRC Grade A for the 7th consecutive year. This globally recognised accreditation demonstrates our commitment to high quality production, packaging, storage and distribution. Our continued achievement reassures chefs and foodservice operators of Wenlock Spring’s capability and high standards as a supplier of bottled water.”

See Wenlock Spring out and about in Shropshire at the Shrewsbury Food Festival (28th and 29th June) - where they will be sponsoring the Chef Demonstration Stage and refreshing visitors, on what will hopefully be a sunny weekend!
