Following their sell out 2013 production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats at Theatre Severn last year, the Get Your Wigle On teen musical theatre group are taking to the Theatre Severn stage this week with another sell-out production: the world famous Les Miserables.

Shropshire theatre fans without a ticket need not be disappointed, as in June the ‘No.1 Musical of All Time’ (100 Greatest Musicals- December 2003) will be showing in Theatre Severn’s main auditorium for the very first time. With six shows, a live orchestra, professional scenery and costumes and a talented local cast, this trip to Rydell High is not to be missed!

The group have been burnin’ down the quarter mile rehearsing electrifying dance moves and fantastic vocal performances; with unforgettable tunes to get toes of all ages tapping-  Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted, Grease Lightnin, You’re The One That I Want and many more..!

Directors Ross Wigley and James Broxton have been working hard in rehearsals, with the cast of the production getting their leather jackets and prom dresses ready to bring the 50s high-school to life with ‘Electrifyin’ Get Your Wigle On energy.  James says: ‘Grease is such an enjoyable, fun night out and we’re so excited to bring the show to Shrewsbury this year.  We’ve got a great team working hard to make sure everybody in the audience is hand jiving along with us!’

With less than eight weeks to go tickets are available and selling fast from the Theatre Severn Box Office, and after the sell-out success of recent productions including Cats, Les Miserables, Boyband and Annie fifties fans are urged to get in touch to avoid missing out! The production will take place in Theatre Severn’s main auditorium from 11th-14th June, with ticket prices starting from just £10.
