First homes sold at new Shrewsbury development

Galliers Homes, one of the best-known names in the county building sector, schemes in Shropshire, has announced that the first homes have been reserved at its latest housing development.

The firm, which opened a state-of-the-art sales hub in Bellstone this year, says that construction work is well underway on its scheme in The Mount, Shrewsbury.

The show home at the Darwins Wood site, which features a stylish range of 27 homes, is on track to be opened in January and three properties have already been reserved.

All the three, four and five-bedroom homes on the scheme, off Ingleby Way, are finished to an exacting specification, with high quality kitchens and bathrooms.

“Darwin’s Way enjoys a superb location in a popular part of Shrewsbury,” said Andy Gough, sales director of Galliers Homes.

“As the development is situated on the edge of the town it enjoys all the facilities and attractions Shrewsbury has to offer, as well as easy access onto the by-pass.”

The scheme includes a selection of 14 properties. Prices range from around £145,000 for a two-bedroom mews house, which can be discounted by 20% for a local first-time buyer. Two other affordable homes are on the market to customers who meet the same criteria.

Three, four and five bedroom detached properties, which all have an en suite master bedroom and garage, start at £219,950 and go up to £379,950.

Andy Gough added: "We are always happy to talk to customers about how we can tailor a deal to suit their needs by, for instance, selling their house or offering a selection of other benefits.”
