Festive Frost Fair at Mayfair!

Come to Church Stretton on Saturday November 22nd, for a day full of fun festive events, culminating in the switch on of the town’s Christmas Lights at 5pm!

From 10am – 5pm there will be a Festive Frost Fair at Mayfair Community Centre in Church Stretton, which will include a very special visitor!

Mayfair will be full of festive spirit, as we’ll have a great array of exhibitors selling gorgeous goodies making it an ideal venue for you to buy some Christmas gifts.

The café will be open during the day, serving delicious food including homemade cakes and hot lunches.

Children will be entertained with face painting before they visit Mayfair’s special visitor, Father Christmas, for a festive story and gift (there will be an entry fee to visit Father Christmas).

At 4.45pm, Father Christmas will be leaving Mayfair, escorted by Mayfair’s Belly Dancers; he will then be walking up to the town square to help with the turning on of Church Stretton’s Christmas lights!

Children and families are invited to follow Father Christmas to the square, and continue to enjoy the festivities there. There will be music by the Shropshire Strummers, as well as a Bouncy Castle, and also the Samurai Rugby Players.
