The 2013 Ludlow Arts Festival features over 14 outstanding events, all over a ten day period, based in the stunning backdrop of the historic Ludlow Castle. This year they present ten events in a Big-Top-Style theatre, which is fully seated as well as outdoor concerts in the outer bailey of the Castle. Ludlow Arts Festival runs from Friday 21st June to Sunday 30th June.

The opulent surroundings of venue means everybody will get a ringside seat as The Circus of Horrors returns to its roots in a Circus big top 18 years after its conception at the Glastonbury festival, so wherever you are sitting you are sure to be close to the action and surrounded by freaks & feathers.

The Circus of Horrors, the show that stormed into the finals of Britain's Got Talent returns with a specially designed show for the Ludlow Festival, entitled Freaks & Feathers.

The opulent surroundings of venue means in theory everybody will get a ringside seat as the show returns to its roots in a Circus big top, 18 years after its conception at the Glastonbury festival.

Basically this also means that wherever you are sat inside the venue you are sure to be close to the action, there will literally be freaks, feathers & feather all around you.

The freaky element of the show consists of the Royal family of Freaks. Led by Circus of Horrors undead Ringmaster Doktor Haze with Captain Dan, the demon dwarf, The Mongolian Laughing Boy - Human Pincushion, The Sword Swallowing of Hannibal Helmurto & the deadly Tesla coil.

The Circus element comes a beautiful bevy of performers including the girl in the bottle, Hula hoop divas, dare devil balancing acts & acrobatics plus of course a multitude of shocks & surprises that you can only ever experience in The Circus of Horrors.
