Challenge your Business for Hope House Children’s Hospices!

Has your business got what it takes to help raise vital funds for Hope House in 2015?  The Hope House Business Challenge is an exciting fundraiser where we lend local businesses £50 and ask them to grow it by as much as it is legally and ethically possible during 2015.

The challenge is an ideal opportunity to test your organisation’s ingenuity and entrepreneurship whilst building the team spirit within the work place and having great fun!!  Business are supported by a member of the Fundraising Team every step of the way – from developing ideas, providing fundraising materials and helping publicising efforts in the local media.

Hope House is a lifeline for parents with a terminally ill child.  We provide help to local families when they need it, at home or in our Shropshire hospice, at absolutely no cost to the family.  We receive just one month’s Government funding and rely total on donations and fundraising therefore the more you are able to raise, the more children we can help.   By turning your £50 into £150 you would enable a specially trained children’s nurse to help a local family look after their child at home in their final hours, ensuring the child is comfortable and pain free.

Shropshire based company, Charlton and Jenrick, have taken part in the Hope House Business Challenge for the past two years, raising over £2000 each year which has covered the cost of a family using our Snowflake Suite, a specially adapted bedroom enabling them to spend time with their child who has died, whilst receiving bereavement support.

“We have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the challenge and will be challenging ourselves again in 2015” said Emma Dodd (Senior Sales Administrator) “We have held a number of different fundraisers such as raffling off an extra day’s holiday, holding dress down days, our Director running the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon and hosting our own charity ball.  I can’t think of a better way to have lots of fun with your work colleagues whilst raising monies for such a great cause”.

So why not sign up today and put your employees to the test?  You could use your £50 to buy ingredients for a cake sale, to enter a team into a sporting event, to secure a venue for an event of your own . . . . .  the possibilities are endless, what’s important is that you have fun taking part.    Call the Fundraising Office today on 01691 671671 to sign up.
