Maria, twin sister of Shadow Leader of the House, Angela, has held a variety of posts in government between 2001 and 2010.

She will be giving a candid view of parliamentary life and of some of the characters that inhabit the Palace of Westminster.

The evening will be in support of Shropshire based charities, Small Steps Forward and Self Help Africa.
