Having your own wedding film captures the magic of your dream day more than anything else can. A wedding film is also great for sharing especially if someone can’t make the wedding itself or for relatives and friends who live abroad.

Charlie Landsborough Winner Writes to Love Shrewsbury

We recieved this nice review of the recent Charlie Landsborough from our competition winner and thought we'd share it with you...

A hopeful, but unexpected win, of 4 tickets rewarded us with an evening out to see singer/songwriter Charlie Landsborough at Theatre Severn.

What should we expect? None of us had seen him before even though we were aware of him on the British country music scene.

He obviously has a great following judging by the well booked auditorium and the atmosphere shared by the audience.

Mazda CX-5

I’ve a sneaking suspicion that come autumn, around the time the clocks go back, the phones in Mazda’s press office go ever so slightly quieter.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty sure there’s still a steady stream of calls from hacks like me asking to be lent a press car or three. And you can almost guarantee that there’ll be calls to say that the MX-5, Mazda’s perennial roadster, has picked yet more gongs at the various award ceremonies that fill the automotive calendar just as everyone’s thoughts turn toward fireworks and wrapping paper.

I currently write car reviews and road tests for a number of regional lifestyle magazines and newspapers which are distributed throughout Cheshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, most of Wales and beyond.

As a member of the Welsh Group of Motoring Writers I'm as happy behind the wheel of a super-mini as I am in the latest super-car. I have press accreditation with most of the major motor manufacturers, meaning that as well as always being on the look out for further commissions, I always have a number of cars arriving each month ready to review.

Dont fall behind with composting this Autumn

Many of us are missing a trick if we don’t continue to home compost through the colder months. Adding more waste now will help the natural bacteria to thrive and keep the composting momentum going at a time when decomposition naturally slow down.

Why Should We Grow Up?

Forever In  Blue Jeans

Theatre Severn

4/11/12/

A full auditorium waited patiently as the closed curtains at Theatre Severn simply shone the legend, “Forever in Blue Jeans.” Average age was around about fifty-something. This was a nostalgia audience waiting for a nostalgia show.

And it started. With a back line of Keys, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drums and a front line of two men and two girl vocalists the show got underway with all the classic hits from Connie Francis to Elvis Presley and through the Motown sound.

Thousands Turn Up To Watch Terrorist Burn

Bonfire and Fireworks
West Mid Showground
4/11/12

It was a chilly but thankfully dry Sunday afternoon as families huddled into the West Mid Show ground for an afternoon and evening of enjoyment. Brought to us by the West Mid Showground Organisers. Firstly, as the people poured in rather like Scott of the Antarctic they were oblivious to the cold. Luckily it didn’t rain but it felt sub-zero.
