WREKINLUNCH

Network of Women at Wrekin College…

Shropshire Chamber of Commerce organised a lunch for its Network of Women, at Wrekin College, Wellington, in Telford.

Businesswomen from across the county attended and were given a motivational talk by Phyl Edmonds of Severn Workforce Development, together with lunch, followed by an interactive demonstration on cooking with chocolate by renowned television chocolatier Sarah Hartnett.

Event organiser Teresa Rowe, said: “We were delighted to be invited back to Wrekin College and the hospitality provided today has been exceptional, we have a diverse range of businesses from across the region represented here ranging from solicitors, web designers, banks, motor dealers and accountants to cake makers.”

Wrekin College bursar Yvonne Thomas, added: “Wrekin College is pleased to be given the opportunity to meet with members of the Shropshire business community and to welcome them to our famous school. It is also very good timing as we are launching our own Business School on site in the January.”
