Entries are still being accepted for the second Love Lane Machinery Sale which returns to Bishops Castle on Saturday, April 25 after a successful debut last autumn.

Halls auctioneers have reported a strong entry for the sale with support from local dealers, farmers and smallholders alike.

“The entry to date comprises one small dispersal of machinery from a local farm and many highlight items from genuine farms, including some vintage tractors,” said Halls auctioneer Henry Hyde, who organises the sale.

“Late entries from across the South Shropshire and Mid Wales are welcomed and, with a caterer attending, we are looking forward to great turn out on the day.”

Tractor entries include a SAME Dorado 95 4WD, a 2023 SAME Explorer 90 Synco Power, a 2002 John Deere 6210 4WD, a 1993 Massey Ferguson 3095 Dyno Shift, a 1975 Ford 4000 2wd with Quickie 2560 front end loader, a restored 1960 Massey Ferguson 35, a Ferguson TEF20 2wd diesel and a 1995 New Holland 640 round belt baler with bale command and control box.

The sale, held at Love Lane sale field, begins with workshop tools, tractor spares, parts and building materials at 10am.

For those wishing to enter machinery, delivery and unloading days are Thursday and Friday, April 23 and 24 from 9am until 4pm, with a loader and overnight security on the sale site.
