Zipwire challenge for tutors

Two language tutors from Shrewsbury languages school Bright Owls, are hoping to raise funds for Hope House children's hospices next month.

Marisa Fernandez and Julie Ball, have decided to take a bold leap out of their comfort zones - and they will be taking part in the zip wire challenge on October 12, when they aim to raise a minimum of £100 each.

Speaking of the fund-raising, Marisa said “Hope House children's hospices do a really fantastic job and I believe it’s important that anyone who possibly can, helps raise much needed funds for them.” She added “Although we're both nervous at participating on the zip wire, I know the event will be helping very special young people.”

People have already started sponsoring Marisa and Julie - but the appeal for support is opened out to the general public, as well as Bright Owls own customers.
