House of Fraser, Shrewsbury has recently unveiled an exciting new partnership with the Hive Music and Media Centre in the town. The flagship department store will be working together with the Hive team on a diverse variety of events and initiatives, launching with a special student lock-in event at the store next Wednesday
Taking place on Wednesday November 7th between 5:30pm and 7:30pm at House of Fraser, Shrewsbury on the High Street, young people will have the opportunity to shop in the store, whilst listening to live music from popular local group Not Completely Blonde. There will also be food provided by acclaimed local restaurant Eat-Up - and other attractions on offer to deliver an evening which is not too be missed! Tickets cost £5 for the event and can be purchased from the Hive in advance or brought on the night itself in-store. Funds raised from the student lock-in will support the Hive's work with young people and the wider community.
The aim of the new partnership, aside from raising funds and awareness of the Hive as an independent charity, is to also raise awareness of House of Fraser throughout the town and with new audiences, such as young people.
Habib Malik-Mansell, Marketing Assistant at the Hive said "We are extremely pleased to now be working with the House of Fraser Shrewsbury team, with some exciting plans already in the pipeline for the future. We are both located just around the corner from eachother, so it makes sense for us to combine forces in every way we can to maximise the opportunities for both business and charity". Speaking of the student lock-in event, he added "This special event will offer young people the chance to discover just how much House of Fraser actually has to offer them in Shrewsbury; and the live performance from Not Completely Blonde alone, is going to be fantastic".
Tickets for the student lock-in on November 7th cost £5 and can be purchased in advance from the Hive on Belmont or from House of Fraser on the High Street. Tickets will also be available for purchase on the night. For more information on the new partnership, visit http://www.hiveonline.org.uk/businesssupport/
