Languages for Holidays classes

A language school in Shrewsbury has unveiled a new series of classes for adults, which are specifically aimed at giving attendees the essentials of particular languages, ahead of holidays during the summer period. Bright Owls tutors are looking forward to welcoming students to the first sessions which commence in a fortnight.

The classes offer French, Spanish and Italian opportunities and give participants a valuable chance to get to grips with their chosen language, before taking any holidays in the respective countries over summer. Founders of Bright Owls, which is now based on Wyle Cop - Marisa Fernandez and Julie Ball - say there has never been a better time to embrace learning a new language!

Daytime courses available on Mondays include French for Holidays starting on Monday May 12 and Italian for Holidays commencing on the same date. Both of these short-courses run until June 23 and cost £60 in total for either series.

Spanish for holidays is available in the evening, along with a further French course - if interested people are unable to make the daytime session. The Spanish classes will start on May 14 and take place on Wednesdays, whilst the evening French will be on Thursdays, starting May 15. As with the daytime classes, the cost is exactly the same - just £60 for either language.

Speaking of the classes, Marisa Fernandez said "Our languages for holiday classes were very popular last year and they should be once again this year. We hope that people will embrace this once-a-year opportunity we are offering and realise that learning a language in time for their holidays is not as daunting as it may seem!"

Julie Ball, fellow tutor, added "These new courses are just one element of our varied and diverse programme.  People may be surprised to learn that we also offer after-school clubs for children, as well as a range of other courses, including Mandarin for beginners - which is launching again on Saturday, 3rd May."
