Easter Bazaar on horizon

Organisers of a special Bazaar in Shropshire have announced that stalls have sold out! Bosses at Shrewsbury arts venue and youth charity the Hive have reported that stalls sold much quicker than ever before for their next seasonal Bazaar, proving the popularity of the events with local creatives and small business owners.

The Easter themed event will be taking place in April and offers the perfect opportunity for independent businesses and and locals crafts-people to showcase their products and services in an affordable setting. Offering a diverse and varied selection of stands - the Bazaar will give shoppers the chance to buy a range of unique goods including artwork, jewellery, vintage clothes, gifts, greeting cards, home accessories, books and lots of other interesting items too.

The aim of the Hive's Bazaar events, of which this will be the fifth, is to provide a hopefully unique shopping experience for those who visit - with the chance to find one-off gifts and items.

Taking place on Saturday April 19 between 11am and 4pm, the Bazaar will feature a live DJ - resident Hive workshop leader and musician DJ Buzzword - along with catering to be provided by neighbouring restaurant, Eat-Up of Milk Street.

Habib Malik-Mansell from the Hive said "Our Bazaars make an attractive and affordable proposition for crafts-people and small businesses who wish to give it a go and get involved at minimal cost. The fact that all spaces have sold well in advance, demonstrates this!"

Entry for April's event costs £1 on the day for adults, with all of the money raised going towards the Hive's work with disadvantaged young people across the county; to deliver creative projects and cultural activities.
