Author's books hit more shelves!

A Shrewsbury based author is celebrating this week, after receiving the news that two of his recent books are to be available from another county outlet!

Neil Rathmell is pleased to report that both his books, ‘Vive Le Mole’ and ‘An Englishman and his Mother Abroad’, are available to purchase from Castle Bookshop in Ludlow, on the Market Square.

Vive Le Mole is a tale of love and intrigue, a grown-up sequel to Wind In The Willows, which is set in the South of France.

An Englishman and his Mother Abroad, is an entertaining memoir, which details Neil’s own personal travels to India with his Mother, for her 90th birthday. Intertwined with historical information, it is a book certainly worth perusing!

Neil’s two books can also be purchased from Pengwern Books in Shrewsbury town centre. They are available too, through his website:

The website, provides further information on Neil as an author - as well as interesting literary essays and short stores.
