Saturday July the 8th and Sunday July the 9th will see local business – Shropshire Handmade and Vintage hosting their annual summer fair at Salop Leisure for another successful event. Up to 50 local traders and artisans will be attending to sell and exhibit their wares over the weekend to an abundance of expected visitors again. Carrie Hughes owner of Shropshire Handmade and Vintage says "I've been bringing successful fairs to the county since 2012 and am delighted that after 4 years myself and the team at Salop Leisure are still working together to host this amazing event.
My passion is to support small, independent businesses, just like my own, so to be able to offer them a fruitful trading place is fabulous. We will have up to 50 traders at this next event at Salop Leisure and we still continue to offer free admission and parking to all visitors so we hope that lots of people will pop over and support local".
The fair will be open from 10am to 4pm both days. Visitors will also find a pottery workshop, free childrens craft area, facepainting and live singing. Traders will be offering unique handmade goods including childrens clothes, textiles, cards and stationary, gifts, jewellery and much more. They can also enjoy the benefits of the onsite coffee shop – Love Coffee and peruse the many caravans and motor homes on show. There is also a plant centre – Love Plants and plenty of experienced staff from all departments on hand to help out and advise.
