An experienced sales professional aims to establish Halls as the top regional estate agent by enhancing client experience across its network of seven residential offices in Shropshire, Powys and Worcestershire.
Fiona MacLiam is no stranger to Halls, having freelanced for the company in the past, interspersed with selling prestigious and off market properties valued in excess of £1 million for two national estate agents.
She is working alongside Becky Thorne in Halls’ group sales support team, supporting branch managers and training residential teams to deliver excellent client care and professionalism.
Her appointment follows the recent creation of a Residential Property Board by Halls to strengthen and grow this division of the multi-disciplined business.
“Fiona brings considerable experience from the premium end of the residential property sector, particularly in working with high net-worth clients and within highly service-driven environments,” said Halls managing director, Jon Quinn.
“Her background and insight are a valuable addition to the team as we continue to refine and improve the way we support our clients throughout their journey with Halls.
“Fiona’s role will also support the wider objectives and collective goals we have set for the residential side of the business. She will play an important part in helping us deliver on ambitions to continue to strengthen our residential network, improve consistency across our offices and further enhance the overall client experience.
“Becky has already made a significant impact since joining the business, helping to drive improvements in best practice, training and customer care across our offices.”
Starting employment with an international airline, Fiona then worked in marketing in both the public and private sectors before developing a successful career in estate agency, whilst refurbishing and selling properties and bringing up three children.
“My role involves providing sales support, developing customer service skills and acting as an ambassador for the company at networking events and with premium clients,” she said. “I shall also be helping the company to develop the off-market side of our country house department.
“My aim is to develop the best customer service to establish Halls as the top regional agent for residential sales by building excellent relationships with clients, increasing referrals and ensuring that our staff are skilled and enjoy their roles.”
Halls has its headquarters and a residential office in Shrewsbury together with other offices in Ellesmere, Welshpool, Bishops Castle, Whitchurch, Telford, Oswestry, Telford and Kidderminster.
