Serenity £40,000 Refurbishment

Dozens of people from across the county turned out to celebrate the opening of the exclusive new spa facilities at Serenity in Shrewsbury this week.

Guests to the wellness spa situated in one of the town’s historic buildings near Shrewsbury Castle enjoyed drinks and canapes while touring the brand new Sanctuary Spa, complete with Salt Cave and Arabian Rasul.

The £40,000 refurbishment of the spa took place over Easter and guests at the launch event on Thursday evening (April 25th) were able to enjoy complimentary beauty treatments along with a taster of the hot-rock style food of the Stonehouse Bistro, which is available to hire for private and corporate events.

Laura Butler, managing director at Serenity, said: “It was great to welcome so many people to see the changes we have made at Serenity over the last four months

“A lot of work has gone into this. We did not want to be just a skin deep beauty salon, we are a wellness centre so everything is beneficial for our clients.

“We are a micro-spa but we now have unique facilities to offer everyone who comes to see us. We are really proud of the fact Serenity is an accessible small retreat from the hustle and bustle of town that people can just dip into and rejuvenate.”

The new Serenity branding was also unveiled at the launch event, which has been designed by Shrewsbury-based graphic design studio In the Shed.

“With all the work that has been done we wanted to refresh the branding for Serenity and have something that tied together all the different aspects, the gym, spa, bistro and cafe and we are so happy with what Nikki at In the Shed has come up with - it is perfect.”

Serenity has a host of special offers on to celebrate the re-opening of the spa and more information can be found at
