We’re all mad here - mad about Wroxeter’s latest event

Guests at an Alice in Wonderland themed event are set to be grinning from ear to ear.

The Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea will be held at The Wroxeter Hotel on Saturday, September 15th, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Themed around Lewis Carroll’s famous novel, the event takes place inside the venue’s giant tipis in the grounds.

Food will include sandwiches, jam tarts, macaroons, sausage rolls and homemade brownies all prepared by the hotel’s chef.

Hannah Hall, of The Wroxeter,  said: “We’re so excited to be hosting our Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea and can’t wait to welcome fans of the fantastic world of Alice and her friends to the event.

“The afternoon will be extremely informal with the chance to spend time in our spectacular tipis and enjoy the menu crafted by our chef. All of the family can join in and enjoy the grounds - and who knows maybe we will see some guests in fancy dress, although this is definitely not compulsory!

“We recently hosted an Alice in Wonderland themed christening at The Wroxeter which was a wonderful day and inspired us to host this event.

“Themed events are something our events team are experts in, having also had numerous weddings here with themes as varied as Harry Potter and Titanic - and we are bringing back our Alice themed pop-up wedding package in March 2019 following its huge success this year.”
