Three-storey Grade II Listed building in Shrewsbury town centre sold to a private investor

An attractive three-storey Grade II Listed building in Shrewsbury town centre has been sold to a private investor.

Offers in the region of £325,000 had been invited by Towler Shaw Roberts - subject to the existing tenancies - for the property at 13 and 13a St Mary’s Street.

Featuring both retail and residential accommodation, the property comprises a well-appointed, double fronted ground floor retail unit.

It also includes office/storage accommodation on the first floor, and a separate self-contained residential three-bedroom maisonette with independent ground floor access.

Toby Shaw, who handled the sale for TSR, said: “It’s an attractive period building and occupies a prominent position fronting St Mary’s Place in a desirable part of Shrewsbury’s historic town centre.

“It represents an exciting investment opportunity and we are pleased to have completed a sale to a private investor.”
