Sports kits donated by county firm

Youngsters will be donning new kits at a series of sports camps thanks to a partnership between a coaching company and a Shropshire business.

Ball Sports Community Coaching, based in Telford, has agreed a sponsorship deal with National Windscreens, and bosses have taken delivery of a new set of sports kits.

The company holds holiday sports camps and coaching programmes in schools across the county, and owners Neil Prescott and Steve Lalley said they were delighted to be supported by National Windscreens.

Mr Prescott said: “We have had a fantastic start to 2015 and are really busy putting on more sessions and working with more schools than ever before.

“Having the support of such a well known company like National Windscreens is great and has enabled us to invest in new kits which our members get as part of their Ball Sports package.”

John Smallman and James Morgan, regional directors and owners of National Windscreens branches in Telford, Oswestry and Wolverhampton, said they were looking forward to working with Ball Sports.

“While exhibiting at various county events we had seen the hard work and dedication of the Ball Sports team and most importantly the fun the children were having with them,” Mr Smallman said.

“We wanted to sponsor them at a crucial time as they are winning new contracts at schools across the area, and we hope to help with that business development.

“I was a ‘young’ businessman once and I know the importance of support from local businesses.”

Mr Morgan, who also started out in business with his father David Morgan, added: “I can see the similarities in our businesses as Neil has the support of his father in the business and that is great to see.

“We wish them every success for the year ahead as their official sponsors.”
