Shropshire Mind has partnered with Clear

Shropshire Mind – the Mental health charity – have partnered with Clear, a local creative digital agency, for 2018. The team from Clear will support Shropshire Mind with fundraising, as well as using their in-house skills to help the charity to improve its online presence.

Clear nominated Shropshire Mind as their charity for the year following a vote by their 19 employees.

Fundraising events are already underway. Two members of the Clear team are undertaking a 1000 mile bike ride from John O’ Groats to Lands End, this started on 29th June. The bike ride is expected to take 16 days. Zoe and Stewart from Clear will be doing 75 miles a day!

This fundraiser has already raised over £1200. Ten of Clear’s clients kindly donated £100 each for a corporate sponsorship, giving their logos pride of place on the back of the t-shirt that will travel the length of the country.

Heather Ireland, Shropshire Mind’s manager:

”We are very fortunate to have been chosen by Clear as their charity of the year, we are very much looking forward to  working more closely with them. The charity will benefit enormously from their expertise and the business networking opportunities that they will be able to support us with. We are extremely grateful for their support''.

Fundraising will launch the campaign to enable Shropshire Mind to purchase its own premises, ensuring the continuity of the charity for future residents of Shropshire.  Shropshire Mind is Shropshire’s only local mental health charity providing support, information, guidance and signposting seven days each week for anyone affected by poor mental health. It is their mission to purchase their own building in 2019 and with the help of local support, they are confident they can achieve this goal.

Gavin Mills, Managing Director of Clear:

“Last year we had a huge focus on charity and giving back – this year we gave our team the choice of four charities and they voted for Shropshire Mind. Our charity work for 2018 will be dedicated to Shropshire Mind and our team will be using their digital skills to help them increase their online presence. This will include digital marketing, social media and general support. This year, we’re also planning to arrange networking events where local business can get together and raise money for this great cause.”You can follow Stewart’s and Zoe’s John O’ Groats to Lands End journey and donate to Shropshire Mind here:
