Shropshire Drive-in release new events!

Shropshire Festivals have released more drive-in event dates in the wake of the first show selling out in less than a week. Tickets are now sale for the new dates, with more events in the pipeline.

A much-needed night of laughter will be delivered on Friday 10th July with a comedy night. The delightfully saucy Karen Bayley will combine her killer wit and devastating one-liners to MC for the night. The line-up includes Paul McCaffrey - who has starred on Live at the Apollo and Russell Howard's Good News, Tom Deacon – who has been the host of his own TV and radio shows on BBC2, BBC Radio1, and The Capital FM breakfast show, and Vikki Stone - an award winning writer, composer, actor and comedian, who has appeared on many TV and radio shows, including The John Bishop Show. The comedy night will be suitable for ages 18 and over.

On Saturday 11th July, the drive-in will take a theatrical turn with ‘The Most Spectacular Show’ - a series of performance acts guaranteed to amaze the whole family. The cast includes west end singers, dancers who have toured the world, world-class acrobats and Britain's Got Talent finalists.

There will be a limited number of tickets available for each show, which will take place at the West Mid Showground. Street food and soft drinks will be available and delivered straight to the cars.

Beth Heath from Shropshire Festivals comments, “After a truly awful few months for an events company, the successful launch of Shropshire Drive-In has brought us infinite joy and relief! We want Shropshire Drive-In to cater to everyone, so following on from the music concert we are introducing comedy nights, a spectacular show, and hopefully a movie night soon! We hope it delivers some amazing live experiences and some much needed nights out, whilst giving people the reassuring safety they need right now.”
