Shrewsbury Home Care Company's New Technology Ensures Elderly are Well Cared For

Shrewsbury domiciliary care company Radfield Home Care have been overwhelmed by the reaction from both their clients and staff to their bespoke care technology solution.

Radfield Home Care, based in Frankwell, have pioneered the use of the technology which allows care records to be entered digitally in our client's homes and automatically sent back to the office. All care staff are given a work smart phone to enable them to use the software and keep in touch with the office whilst out and about caring for our clients.

Dr Hannah MacKechnie, director of Radfield Home Care explains why the new technology has been such a success: "We have been delighted with the response to the new system by our staff and our clients. The new software allows us to know in real time what is happening with our clients and alert us to any issues straight away which is very important especially when providing time critical services such as medication support.

We feel that our bespoke software enables us to provide the highest standard of services to our clients and allows us to respond immediately if any issues arise. We can feed information straight back to relatives or health care professionals such as GP's and District Nurses which keeps our clients at the heart of the care we provide by ensuring that all key people are kept informed."

Dr Hannah MacKechnie added "As a company we are very proud to be able to offer our clients and their relatives this cutting edge solution which alleviates much of the stress and worry around providing care to elderly clients and ensuring their wellbeing."
