Shrewsbury Arts Trail

The Shrewsbury Arts Trail (https://instagram.com/shrewsbury_arts_trail?igshid=t57ec491nv23 ) is an exciting new initiative founded by Shrewsbury Arts and Crafts( https://instagram.com/shrewsburyartsandcrafts?igshid=1b0smaoforew0)during lockdown to promote the Visual Arts in the town, making the work of Shropshire's Artists and Crafts people accessible to everyone. 

Throughout June you will be able to visit specially curated exhibitions and discover the quality and creativity of local artists, truly diverse, up and coming talents will share space with those who attract international acclaim.

As you meander between locations, you can take a break at one of the cafe's, bars and restaurants that are also hosting the work of local artist, making it a truly immersive experience. Families can follow a children's map which will lead you on a treasure hunt though the historic town center. 

What's more on June 12th St Mary’s Church will hold a Glass Festival as part of Shrewsbury Arts Trail highlighting the superb stained glass along with a host of local glass makers. People will be able to attend open studios and demonstrations led by local artists and makers, sure to inspire and fire the creative imagination. 
 
This is a free event, no admission costs anywhere and people will be able to pick up a leaflets for free from the participating organisations. We are also launching soon a website where people will be able to download the booklets and treasure maps for free to save on their phone or print out.
