Second Award nomination for Bright Owls

Leading language service provider Bright Owls, of Shrewsbury town centre, are celebrating this month following their nomination for the Businesses for Children Awards 2018. Now they have been shortlisted for the category of 'BCA Educational Business for Young People 2018'

Businesses for Children Awards exist to help reward businesses in Shropshire that educate, support or provide engaging activities for the County’s future generations.

It is the second year running that Bright Owls have been nominated and shortlisted for the work that they do with young people across the county.

Speaking of the nomination, Marisa Fernandez said “Bright Owls are extremely pleased and honoured, to have been shortlisted for a second year running. Being nominated provides great recognition for our work with young people, which includes After-School Clubs for the youngest, through to academic support with GCSE and A level for the older ones. The Businesses for Children Awards have developed into a fantastic annual event - and we can’t wait for the 2018 awards ceremony in March!”

The Businesses for Children Awards 2018 are on offer to schools, nurseries, educational businesses and even cookery classes - and focus on businesses that deliver enjoyable activities for young people.

The Award nominations culminate in a formal awards ceremony, helping to further raise the profile of local businesses.
