Plenty of power & Porsche cars for Loton weekend....

This weekend (20/21st May) sees entrants in the Midland Hill Climb Championship descend on Loton Park, near Shrewsbury for round 5 of the highly competitive and closely fought championship.

A capacity entry on both Saturday and Sunday will see drivers and a huge variety of car from across the UK competing against the clock up the tight and technically demanding course at Alberbury.

Lotus cars of all shapes and sizes will be competing in the serious but also rather social Paul Matty Sports Cars Lotus Championship which sees drivers chasing handicap target times to create a level playing field amongst such diverse sports cars and historic racing machines.

Also taking part as an invited club are members of the Porsche Club Speed Championship, proving very popular with spectators!

Meanwhile, members of event hosts’ Hagley Car Club will be taking part in different classes in the Allswage Loton Park Championship, which often sees new drivers to the sport thriving under the handicap points scoring system.

The action starts at 9am each day in programme order, with full and detailed commentary on the action, together with full facilities on site and accompanied children under 16 are admitted free.
