Personal training company moves into new premises

A Telford personal training company celebrating a record year has moved into new premises and is now looking to support other expanding businesses.

Stuart Henderson, who runs Ideal Fitness, relocated to a larger studio in the Business Development Centre on Stafford Park earlier this month to offer his expanding client base a wider range of services.

The new studio has also been kitted out with a large therapy room and Mr Henderson is now looking to team up with other growing businesses in the area, in particular sports massage therapists.

He said: “Moving to a larger studio has been the culmination of a lot of hard work over the last six months so I’m thrilled to finally be in.

“It offers so much more space for my personal and semi-private personal training sessions and my clients seem to really like it.

“Part of the move was about expanding and growing the services we offer at Ideal Fitness and we are looking to team up with another business in the area providing sports massage or therapy.

“The therapy room we have created is ideal for someone who currently works from home but wants to expand out into the community or someone just starting their own business.

“It would be a fantastic partnership and the Business Development Centre, located in the heart of Telford, is a perfect location for any business looking to grow.”

Mr Henderson launched Ideal Fitness in 2009 after recovering from a serious car accident in which he broke his back, leaving him unable to walk for two years.

Over the last six years, the business has gone from strength to strength

and continues to grow.

“It seems just yesterday that I was recovering from my car accident and dreams of running my own business were thrown into jeopardy,” he said.

“I’m so glad I didn’t give up and stayed focused. The business has gone from strength to strength and my client base is continually growing. It should be another very exciting year.”
